Tieri Golf Club

Nine hole golf with abundant wildlife, kangaroos on course
Maywin Drive, Tieri, QLD, Australia, 4709

Tieri was built from the ground up on virgin bushland that was originally within the property called ‘Crinum’. The town was established by Mount Isa Mines (MIM) Holdings Pty Ltd to house the employees of the Oaky Creek Mine, 14km to the east. The first house was completed in April 1982. Having celebrated its quarter century in 2008, Tieri residents, both old and new, are proud of the vibrant and strong community they have developed and continue to develop.More information at Tieri website.

The original Tieri Golf clubhouse was moved from the Oaky Creek dragline camp to its proposed site on 8 October, 1984, and the golf course had been built by the end of that year.

9 Hole course, Par 73, 6120 metres. Abundant wildlife and many birds; kangaroos on the course.
